Prevention and Fighting
Repellents and insecticides may be adopted in the prevention of illnesses transmitted by the Aedes aegypti, provided they are registered with the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) and that all warnings and precautions described on their labels are observed. Applied directly onto the skin as a topical agent may be used by pregnant women and children over 2 years of age.
